Biography
Serving as keyboardist and vocalist for the Untouchables, the Los Angeles-based ska revival band active throughout the 1980s, Josh Harris wrote or co-wrote the tracks “Freak in the Streets,” “Lasershow,” “Lovers Again,” “Piece of Your Love,” “What’s Gone Wrong,” and “Whiplash,” all of which featured on the group’s debut studio album Wild Child (1985). Issued by Stiff Records in the U.K. and MCA Records in the U.S., the LP entered the British charts, while the band’s second full-length studio album, Agent Double O Soul, appeared on Restless Records and reached the American charts in 1989. Once the Untouchables disbanded in the 1990s, Harris stepped back from music for a period before recording and issuing his first solo album, Joker’s Wild.
