Kevin Manuel Rivera Allende entered the world in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico, absorbing the island’s rap and reggaetón traditions through artists such as Cosculluela and Daddy Yankee. At age eight he began experimenting with production after observing his father working on a household computer, treating beat-making as a casual pastime before uploading tracks and songs online for several years. A talent-scout phone call abruptly accelerated his trajectory, prompting the March 2019 release of his debut single “5:12,” which was soon followed by “105 F.” An all-star remix of the latter featured verses from Farruko, Ñengo Flow, and Arcángel, propelling the track to hundreds of millions of streams and establishing KEVVO—widely recognized as the Prince of Perreo—as a rapid riser whose trap-and-reggaetón fusion delivers flashy, boisterous, and explicitly raunchy lyrics.

Further momentum arrived through high-profile collaborations, among them the expansive “El Efecto (Remix)” alongside Rauw Alejandro and Chencho Corleone with additional contributions from Bryant Myers, Lyanno, and Dalex. Throughout 2020 he issued “Booty Call” with Darell, “No Lo Niegues” with Jay Wheeler, and “Billetes Azules” with J Balvin, while also dropping “Desahogo.” Early the following year he returned with “Te Va Bien,” uniting Arcángel & Becky G and again featuring Darell; he also joined Leebrian, De La Ghetto, and Noriel on “Pesseo,” both singles arriving ahead of his Interscope debut album, Cotidiano.
