Kings Elliot

Kings Elliot, a singer-songwriter, first unveiled her introspective and somber pop approach through the 2020 track “I’m Getting Tired of Me,” a streaming success that secured her a contract with a major label. Mental-health themes remained central to her writing, framed by gentle melodies and muted sonic hues, on the 2021 EP Chaos in My Court and the 2022 release Bored of the Circus EP.

Born in Switzerland and now London-based, Kings Elliot traces her earliest musical experiences to karaoke nights in pubs with her mother beginning around age nine. After receiving a borderline personality disorder diagnosis, she discovered songwriting as a vital outlet. Her debut single “I’m Getting Tired of Me,” paired with a stark video showing Elliot in the midst of an on-camera panic attack, connected with millions of online listeners; together with the similarly fragile follow-up “Dancing Alone,” it drew the attention of Verve. Those tracks and later singles were gathered on the Chaos in My Court EP, issued by Verve that December. In 2022 she released Bored of the Circus, an EP of piano-based ballads; supplied “Lost Again” as the theme for the survival horror game The Callisto Protocol; and toured with Macklemore and Imagine Dragons. During the same period, Elliot received a nomination for Best New Artist at the Swiss Music Awards.
