An internationally celebrated voice in digital style, Kristina Bazan pairs her modeling and blogging work with a career as a singer specializing in minimalist electronic pop. She first drew widespread attention in fashion circles after starting the Kayture site in 2011 and followed that breakthrough with the release of her initial single, “Out,” five years later.

Bazan entered the world in Belarus in 1993 and spent her childhood in Kentucky until her family settled in Switzerland. There she introduced Kayture—formed from her nickname “Kay” and the word “couture”—which quickly gained traction and established her as a prominent online personality and digital influencer. High-profile runway appearances and modeling contracts soon followed, including campaigns for Dolce Gabbana, Dior, Louis Vuitton, and additional luxury houses. Her image appeared on the covers of Vogue Portugal and Elle South Africa, and in 2015 she became the global face of L’Oréal Paris while also issuing the commercially successful book On the Go.

Around the same period she moved to Los Angeles to pursue music. In 2016 she appeared in a three-part series of short films created for Thierry Mugler’s fragrance collection; for that project she contributed a track developed with the French electronic imprint Ed Banger Records. Shortly afterward she issued her first official single, “Out,” helmed by producer Brian Kennedy, whose past credits include work with Rihanna, Chris Brown, and Kelly Clarkson. Two further releases, “Clockwork” and “VR,” reached listeners in 2018.
