Lavi$H, a creator of songs and vocals, fuses expansive R&B textures with intricate pop arrangements and bursts of unfiltered intensity drawn from commercial hip-hop. Having operated solo across multiple years, the artist partnered with Def Jam to issue his EP You Made a Big Mistake during 2023.
Born in Lusaka, Zambia, Lavi$H later settled in Winnipeg, Manitoba’s most populous urban center. During his late teenage years he started producing music, blending rap, R&B, and dancehall components while refining his approach. Relocating to Toronto enabled him to stage shows and put out multiple independent recordings, drawing from Drake’s example along with others who push boundaries between R&B and pop. Upon joining Def Jam, he issued “World In My Hands” in February 2023 as his initial single to receive broad promotion and distribution. The seven-track EP You Made a Big Mistake arrived that June.
