Biography
German pop singer Lisa Bund earned her widest recognition by finishing second runner-up during the fourth season of Deutschland Sucht den Superstar, the German edition of American Idol. She entered the world on May 31, 1988, and had already collected audition experience across several televised talent searches, including Teenstar on RTL2, from which she was forced to withdraw when her parents learned of the submission only after the fact, Star Search on SAT1, and Popstars on PRO7. While competing on the 2007 installment of DSDS, she contributed the track “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” to the ten-contestant compilation Power of Love. Once the season concluded, she secured a guest role on the daily German soap Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten before issuing her first full-length project, Born Again, whose production was handled by Lukas Hilbert and Alex Christensen and whose songs received additional writing input from the Berlin outfit Valicon. In 2008 she took part in the reality series Ich Bin ein Star: Holt Mich Hier Raus!
