MANT, a London-rooted dance duo, have secured regular spots in clubs and at festivals through their meticulously engineered fusion of techno, house, and acid. From 2014 onward the pair have issued lively, festive cuts on MTA, Solä, and Toolroom, drawing consistent approval from selectors including Steve Lawler, Joris Voorn, and Hot Since 82.

The producers, who go solely by the names Sam and Andy, first appeared with a self-titled EP on Chase & Status’ MTA Records in 2014. That project defined their approach as luminous and buoyant while retaining a modest dramatic edge. The more unconventional Freedom EP arrived the next year. A link-up with Solardo surfaced in 2016, after which MANT began issuing material steadily on the Solä label, opening with the 2017 single “Ra” and extending through EPs such as Coming Back and Higher Self. Further output appeared on Cr2 and Solotoko, accompanied by joint work with Sonny Fodera and Biscits. Toolroom Records delivered the retro-tinged vocal house number “Lonely Days,” featuring Hayla, in 2019; the same year closed with the acid-house-leaning Dance On It EP on Diplo’s Higher Ground imprint.
