Maranatha! Gospel

Maranatha! Music, a praise and worship label, maintains Maranatha! Gospel as its internal musical collective. The label itself dates back to 1971 and has issued dozens of self-produced albums across subsequent decades through assorted Maranatha ensembles. Beginning in the early 2010s, Maranatha started releasing updated versions of current church standards under the Maranatha! Gospel banner, one example being 2015’s Top 25 Gospel Praise Songs. Top 25 Gospel Praise Songs 2017, containing material written by Andraé Crouch and Dottie Peoples along with additional writers, appeared in late 2016 and climbed to the summit of the Billboard Christian albums chart.
