Martin Jensen

Hailing from Silkeborg in Denmark, electronic music maker Martin Jensen crafts lively house tracks infused with elements stretching from massive-bass festival-style EDM to elongated tropical vibes. While working days as a contractor, this DJ began performing sets in his spare time. By uploading blends that drew from online viral clips, he cultivated a robust following across social platforms. The debut release "Si," a festive number that wove in a clip of soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo shouting the title word, turned into an internet sensation during 2015. Swiftly after came the thunderous cuts "Night After Night" and "Miracles" with Danish collaborator Björnskov. Jensen shifted toward a subdued, Caribbean-tinged aesthetic on the second of these, echoing the styles of Kygo and Matoma. During 2016, he put out "All I Wanna Do" alongside "Solo Dance," the latter gaining massive traction online with close to 142 million plays. Also in that year, he placed at number 82 in DJ Mag's Top 100 list. Featuring New York City pop pair Loote, the single "Wait" came out in 2017, with "Pull Up" and "16 Steps" — the last one including Olivia Holt — appearing the next year. That period also saw the release of his brief EP titled World. English vocalist James Arthur joined him on the 2019 song "Nobody."
