Biography
Hailing from Greensboro, North Carolina, the five-piece group Mercy Mercedes delivered an energetic, high-speed pop-rock sound laced with new wave influences, swiftly building a loyal audience that eventually secured them an independent label contract. Once they had sharpened their live abilities through constant touring, the musicians cut and put out the EP Casio Rodeo, which moved briskly in online sales. Mounting excitement around the act soon produced a recording agreement with The Militia Group, which set the members to work on their first full-length project. The calendar year 2009 was reserved for both road dates and studio sessions.
