Biography
Stereo Skyline came together in 2006 during the high-school years of its founding members in East Meadow, NY. Amid frequent shifts in personnel, the group issued early recordings that included the 2006 release Worst Case Scenario and the self-titled Stereo Skyline EP of 2008. Several months after that EP appeared, co-founder Matt Villani departed, making way for Brian Maddox, whose arrival coincided exactly with the band securing a contract from Columbia. Work on a debut full-length then commenced under the guidance of producer Blake Healy, formerly the frontman of Metro Station, with additional songwriting input supplied by Healy himself along with Adam Schlesinger and S*A*M & Sluggo. The finished album, Stuck on Repeat, reached stores in the summer of 2010.
