Danish electronic musician Morten Breum first took up DJ duties during his teenage years in Aarhus. Now calling Los Angeles home, the producer known simply as Morten blends deep progressive house with dubstep. That arena-filling style drew remix contributions from established figures including Avicii, Tiësto, David Guetta, and Diplo. After signing with PRMD and Ultra Records, Morten issued his debut album Drop! in 2009; the project earned platinum certification in Denmark and reached the top of the national charts. Subsequent singles included the progressive track “86 Degrees” and “Stick Up,” which featured Juliette Lewis. In 2016 he released “Beautiful Heartbeat” with electro-pop singer Frida Sundemo on vocals, followed the same year by “Kids” alongside Steve Aoki and “Love” with Mr. Vegas. Three more tracks surfaced in 2017: “Coffee Can Money,” “TTFU,” and “Keep Me from You” featuring ODA.
