Biography
Electronic-infused pop/rock duo Night Terrors of 1927 draws on the skills of ex-Rilo Kiley guitarist Blake Sennett alongside Jarrod Gorbel, the former lead singer of the Honorary Title. Although the pair had been acquainted since 2010, their reconnection occurred only after Gorbel moved to Los Angeles in 2012, at which point the two veteran indie rockers began collaborating on new material. The group adopted its name from a journal entry left to Gorbel by his great-grandfather, then swiftly secured a deal with Atlantic and issued the five-track EP Guilty Pleas in 2013. Their first full-length album, Everything's Coming Up Roses, arrived in 2015 and featured the Tegan and Sara collaboration “When You Were Mine.”
