Biography
Fronted by the engaging Jackson Guthy, the Los Angeles-based pop-rock ensemble North of Nine channels the same soulful approach associated with Maroon 5. A gifted young songwriter, Guthy entered professional recording at age 11, appeared on The Ellen Show, and supported live dates by Cher Lloyd, Fifth Harmony, Five Seconds of Summer, and One Direction. The lineup is completed by Rob Ketchum on drums, Michael O'Grady on guitar, Edison Lo on bass, and Nolan Frank on keys. Guthy developed the project alongside manager and executive producer Randy Jackson. Their debut EP, Alive, arrived in 2015, was helmed by producer Gavin Brown (Lady Gaga, Barenaked Ladies, Three Days Grace), and contains the hit single "Can It Be You?"
