Biography
After completing two years of piano and sound engineering coursework at the Amsterdam Conservatory of Music, Patrick Prins ignited the European techno scene with the arrival of his hardbag anthem “La Luna” on the 1992 Ethics EP. Although See Saw handled that EP, he soon issued further singles via his own Movin’ Melodies imprint under assorted aliases, among them Artemisia and the Peppermint Lounge. In 1995 VC Recordings, Virgin’s techno subsidiary, signed him and promptly reissued the “La Luna” single.
