Reach The Sky

Reach the Sky, a Boston-rooted hardcore group, fuses rapid punk tempos, aggressive breakdowns, and introspective, emotion-driven lyrics. Chris Chasse on guitar, Brendan Maguire on bass, Bob Mahoney on drums, and Ian Larrabee handling vocals formed the quartet that issued its debut EP, Everybody's Home, in 1999 on Victory Records. Reminiscent of early Dag Nasty and Farside, the band followed with the full-length So Far From Home later that same year. Their third release, Friends, Lies, and the End of the World, surfaced in early 2001 and showcased a forceful, high-momentum sound.
