Rosemarie, a singer and songwriter, channels personal experiences along with influences from artists like Faith Evans, Alicia Keys, and SZA into her contemporary R&B sound aimed at wide appeal. Her debut effort, the 2019 independent project TBD: To Be Determined, paved the way for backing from Bird Vision Entertainment, ultimately securing her a contract with Interscope. Originally from Los Angeles, she has followed up with the 2021 release Sinnergy and Rock Paper Scissors in 2023, both assured EPs blending soul foundations with pop elements. Standout tracks include the warmly received "Henny Talk" and "Fool's Gold."

Born Rosemarie Peralta, her childhood involved moves across New York, California, Florida, and Puerto Rico prior to settling in Los Angeles. She grew up with a singing mother and a father who worked as a DJ. An innate writer, she kept detailed journals before transitioning into songwriting, gaining notice via social media through her cover performances. Following two singles released in 2018, she assembled TBD: To Be Determined, an EP featuring the atmospheric, seductive ballad "Playing with Fire." Her connection to Bird Vision Entertainment, the same label as Roddy Ricch, led to the July 2021 announcement of her Interscope signing, coinciding with "Henny Talk," a ballad incorporating greater blues elements than most of her peers' work. The subsequent month saw the arrival of the Sinnergy EP, encompassing that single along with the Juvenile collaboration "'03 Love" across its eight compact tracks. In March 2023, she delivered Rock Paper Scissors, another EP containing the slow jam "Fool's Gold" and the acoustic ballad "Breaking." She then issued the independent single "Is It Real" in November, a poignant duet featuring Roddy Ricch.
