Biography
Born in Mexico City on June 17, 1970, Sasha Sokol launched her path as a Mexican singer and actress. Her first steps in music came through membership in the popular teen pop group Timbiriche, which she exited in 1986 to focus on acting. Music soon pulled her back, prompting a solo turn in 1987 and the arrival of her debut album Sasha. Across the following two decades she issued additional hit albums together with numerous singles, multiple compilations, and several DVDs. The year 2010 brought her seventh studio album, Tiempo Amarillo, while also marking a pause in solo work so she could take part in the reunion tour mounted by her former band Timbiriche.
