Shoffy

Hailing from Los Angeles, Alex Shofler—known professionally as Shoffy—works as a singer, songwriter, and producer whose output centers on sleek electro-R&B grooves that edge toward indie pop and downtempo textures. Operating exclusively from his home studio and performing every instrumental part himself, he broke through in 2016 with the viral single “Takes My Body Higher.” Capitalizing on that momentum, he issued the EP Somewhere Between Nostalgia & Paradise, which contained the tracks “Home,” “Better Off Here,” and “Eat Your Friends.” His self-titled debut album Shoffy followed in 2017 and spotlighted the songs “Motions” and “Different Skies.” The standalone release “Cool Again” surfaced the next year. In 2020 he returned with his second full-length project, Flash, which included the charting singles “Tricky (feat. Sabrina Carpenter)” and “Bedhead (feat. Anna Clendening).”
