Speedy

Speedy first gained notice as a New York radio host, launching his professional path at HOT 97 alongside Angie Martinez and Funkmaster Flex. A move from the East Coast soon took him to Los Angeles, where he anchored the morning broadcast on Power 106. That West Coast chapter proved short-lived, leading him back to New York and a slot at WKTU. In the closing years of the 1990s and the opening years of the 2000s he also stepped into music, cutting dance singles highlighted by “Speedy’s Anthem” and “El Boom.”
