After tinkering with a bedroom computer setup, André Tanneberger—who works across DJing, remixing, and production—moved into professional track creation with backing from Thomas Kukula. The act Sequential One, titled after the Sequential One Pro Synthesizer and fronted by DJ Spacekid, first appeared in 1993. Their breakthrough single “My Love Is Hot” arrived three years later. “Dreams” surfaced in 1998. Sequential One later rebranded as SQ-1 in 1999.
