The Spencer Lee Band

Raised in the Kansas town of Fort Scott within a household steeped in music, Spencer Lee carried an early certainty that his path would lead to a professional life in song, given that both parents had secured college vocal scholarships. His formative tastes drew equally from Justin Timberlake and John Mayer on one side and Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson on the other, prompting him to enter regional talent contests throughout his youth until he relocated to Los Angeles upon turning 18. Entry into the business came through songwriting placements across multiple television series and motion pictures, among them Disney’s Austin & Ally, The Descendants, and Planes: Fire & Rescue. Early in 2018, Lee and his band placed the track “The Wolf” on the Fifty Shades Freed soundtrack while simultaneously releasing their first single, “Kissing Tree.”
