Biography
Winter Passing, a Dublin-based Irish quintet devoted to emo and pop-punk, assembled in 2012 around siblings Rob and Kate Flynn together with Jamie Collison, John MacMahon, and Neil Kirwan. Guided by the sounds of Jimmy Eats World, Built to Spill, Sonic Youth, the Get Up Kids, and the Gaslight Anthem, the musicians sharpened their abilities through regional club dates, releasing assorted singles and EPs before entering the studio to track their first full-length release. Fita Records delivered that album, Different Space of Mind, in September 2015. Big Scary Monsters followed with the Double Exposure EP two years afterward.
