Times Of Grace

Emerging as a side endeavor from hyperkinetic Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, Times of Grace came together in 2008 during his recovery from emergency back surgery sustained on tour. In that period of downtime he tracked every instrument himself while bringing in former Killswitch Engage singer Jesse Leach to handle vocals. The resulting blend fuses shoegaze atmospherics with metalcore, privileging expansiveness over aggression. Although Dutkiewicz finished the album recordings in 2009, repeated delays kept it shelved until Times of Grace’s debut, Hymn of a Broken Man, appeared in early 2011 on Roadrunner Records.
