Biography
Formed in Murfreesboro, Tennessee during 2005, the Christian metalcore group A Plea for Purging quickly gained notice for its devotion to Iron Maiden and for concerts that bordered on the unhinged. A touring schedule intense enough to surprise even the most road-hardened acts—more than 200 dates logged inside its opening twelve months—soon secured the band a deal with Facedown Records. Its initial offering on that label, A Critique of Mind and Thought, arrived in 2007.
