Biography
In Redlands, California, the heavy metal group Sleeping Giant channels biblical teachings via intense, aggressive sounds that convey potent messages. Established during 2006 from ex-members of the hardcore outfit xdeathstarx, the ensemble—featuring vocalist Thom Green, guitarists Geoff Brouillette and Eric Gregson, bassist J.R. Bermuda, along with drummer Matt Weir—functions equally as a ministry and a musical act. They actively ensure their core message remains clear and visible without any concealment. Their initial release, Dread Champions of the Last Days, came out in 2007 via Facedown Records, followed in 2009 by the next effort Sons of Thunder, also on that label. Transitioning to Ain't No Grave Records brought their third album, Kingdom Days in an Evil Age, during 2011. Later moving to Century Media enabled the Christian metal ensemble to issue Finished People as their fourth album in 2014. Returning to Facedown Records in 2018, they produced what was intended to be their concluding studio album, I Am, featuring the track "No Love."
