Biography
An alt-pop outfit from the U.K., Twin Wild produces music driven by passionate, powerhouse vocals, groove-laden bass, pummeling percussion, and huge anthemic choruses. The quartet—Richard Hutchison (vocals, guitar), David Cuzner (guitar), Edward Thomas (bass), and Imran Mair (drums)—assembled in 2012, drawing members from various locations between Reading and London. After spending 2012 and 2013 writing and rehearsing material, the band issued its debut single, "Fears," in 2014. The track attracted widespread attention from alternative pop and rock fans as well as industry representatives, while earning comparisons to artists such as Biffy Clyro, Bastille, and the Neighbourhood. Twin Wild subsequently opened for acts including PVRIS, You Me at Six, and Nothing But Thieves across the U.K., where further material made its live debut. The band released its debut EP, My Heart, in 2016 and toured extensively throughout the country to promote the effort, followed by the sophomore EP Control the next year. In 2018 Twin Wild put out a cover of Whitney Houston's "It's Not Right But It's Okay" alongside its second single, "Bad Shivers."
