Biography
VCHA, an American K-pop girl group, cultivate a dance-oriented pop sound marked by catchy hooks and R&B shading. Their name draws from the Korean term for “illumination.” The six members—Lexi, Camila, Kendall, Savanna, KG, and Kaylee—came together in 2023 after appearing on the JYP Entertainment and Republic Records reality series A2K (America to Korea), a program designed to assemble the first all-American girl group through the intensive K-pop bootcamp model.
The act first reached listeners with the 2023 EP SeVit (New Light). In September of that year they entered the Korean Circle charts with the single “Y.O.Universe,” a track featured on the EP. A stand-alone version of the A2K theme, “Ready for the World,” followed in December. January 2024 brought the official debut single “Girls of the Year,” with “Only One” arriving that March. Around the same period Kaylee stepped away temporarily for health reasons. Later in 2024 the group toured alongside Twice.
