Biography
Since forming in 2003, Veara has probed the emotional frontiers of pop punk by emphasizing introspective and existential concerns rather than standard adolescent turmoil. Bassist Bryan Kerr, drummer Brittany Harrell, and guitarist Patrick Bambrick established the band in Augusta, Georgia, and the initial trio cycled through several personnel shifts before locking in its roster with the addition of singer Bradley Wyrosdick. Their first release, The Walls Have Ears, surfaced in 2007 through Wisteria Records. Epitaph took notice of the record, inked the band to a deal, and put out the follow-up album What We Left Behind in 2010. A third effort, Growing Up Is Killing Me, appeared in 2013.
