Biography
Formed amid Chicago's Logan Square district in 2012, the rousing pop-punk quintet Sleep on It assembled its original roster with guitarists TJ Horansky and Jacob Marquis, bassist AJ Khah, drummer Luka Fischman, and vocalist John Cass. After issuing the independent EPs Everything, All at Once in 2014 and Safe Again the following year, the group experienced a lineup change when Zech Pluister stepped in as the new frontman. Pluister's bold delivery helped the band solidify its sound, leading to a 2016 deal with Equal Vision Records. The label debut arrived as the EP Lost Along the Way, which preceded the November 2017 full-length Overexposed, marking the quintet's first album. Two years after that release, Sleep on It delivered its second long-player, Pride & Disaster, produced by Kyle Black (Pierce the Veil, All Time Low).
