Biography
Story Untold emerged from Montreal, Quebec, as a Canadian pop-punk group distinguished by its melodic focus, with vocalist Janick Thibault having first built an audience through his heavily viewed YouTube channel. Thibault launched the effort as a solo outlet called Amasic, then brought in several friends during 2012 to handle recordings and live appearances as a full band. That momentum produced a contract with Hopeless Records in 2016, which issued the debut EP under the Story Untold name. The members pointed to Sum 41, Simple Plan, and Green Day as primary influences while delivering bright, high-energy songs that reached fuller form on their first album, Waves, released in 2018.
