Biography
Despite deriving their name from the Spanish term for eight, Vuit actually operate as a trio whose boy band looks and refined pop/rock aesthetic quickly elevated them to the forefront of contemporary acts within the Catalan music scene. The lineup, consisting of lead vocalist/guitarist Carlos Martinez, bassist Llorenc Anguera, and drummer Oscar Villoria, came together in 2009 and issued its debut album Un Dia Qualsevol in 2010, though the 2011 sophomore release 15 Dies I una Nit delivered their greatest impact through contributions from actors Nil Cardoner and Mikel Iglesais of the TV3 drama Polseres Vermelles plus Operación Triunfo coach Manu Guix.
