Biography
Hailing from San Diego, California, the emo-infused punk rock project Weatherbox revolves chiefly around Brian Warren, who supplies vocals, guitar, and songwriting while drawing on an ever-changing pool of supporting musicians for tours and sessions, giving the endeavor the character of a solo venture. After his earlier time in My American Heart, Warren recorded and produced the 2006 Doghouse Records EP The Clearing under the Weatherbox banner. The following year, 2007, brought both the EP 4 Songs and the full-length American Art. The Manbox EP surfaced in 2009, sharing that year with the second album, The Cosmic Drama, before Follow the Rattle of the Afghan Guitar appeared as an EP in 2011. A split EP with Person L followed in 2012, and another split, this time with Sainthood Reps, arrived in 2013. The third full-length, Flies in All Directions, finally emerged in 2014.
