Whoppa Wit Da Choppa

Jacksonville, Florida native Whoppa Wit Da Choppa burst into view during 2021 thanks to his contribution on the ensemble cut “Who I Smoke,” which also featured FastMoney Goon, Yungeen Ace, and Spinabenz. He then carried his over-the-top approach and sharp lyricism into joint work such as the Jdot Breezy project The Kuran, his own introductory LP Sir Duccington, and the 2022 sequel Whoppalations.

The rapper first surfaced in the early 2020s via KU Lyfe, a joint mixtape issued that year with Spinabenz. Throughout 2021 he made numerous guest turns on fellow artists’ records, most notably the gold-certified “Who I Smoke,” while also turning in strong showings alongside Greenlightt, Bhomas, WhyDeyHateYoung, and additional acts. That same year he unveiled his initial standalone album, Sir Duccington. Twelve months later he followed with Whoppalations, an effort that alternated between melodic hardship narratives and aggressive trap numbers and enlisted Jdot Breezy, Yungeen Ace, Jimmy3, plus further guests.
