Biography
Wild Ones came together in Portland, Oregon during 2010, crafting layered indie pop for the current era that draws from the atmospheric textures of 1980s dream pop. The group—comprising lead vocalist Danielle Sullivan, guitarist Nick Vicario, keyboardist Thomas Himes, bass player Max Stein, and drummer Steve Sheldon—issued a lo-fi home recording of the EP You're a Winner shortly after forming, then delivered their first proper album, Keep It Safe, in 2013. Topshelf Records soon added them to its roster and re-released that album the following year, after which the EP Heatwave appeared in 2015. Himes and Vicario handled production duties on the band’s next full-length effort, Mirror Touch, which surfaced in 2017 and likewise came out via Topshelf.
