Originating from Australia while now headquartered in Los Angeles, 19&YOU craft luminous, tuneful alternative pop infused with a nostalgic sensibility. Their catalog so far comprises two extended plays, among them the 2022 effort Sentimental Playback.
American musician Noah Taylor journeyed to Sydney chasing a romantic interest, only to find himself assembling a band instead. Serving as producer and keyboardist, he formed an instant connection with vocalist Cameron Graves, guitarist Jackson Leitch, and drummer Liam Wallis, leading the quartet to begin tracking original material within days. Believing the age of 19 brims with pivotal shifts, they settled on the name 19&YOU. After relocating together to Los Angeles, the self-titled debut EP surfaced in early May 2021, with the follow-up Sentimental Playback appearing the subsequent year.
