Biography
Hailing from Ontario, singer-songwriter Anna Sofia burst onto the scene through her captivating stories about teenage experiences, which she shared via the 2020 EP titled Self Aware Bitch.
Drawing from the sounds of classic radio pop from the 1970s and 1980s, as well as elements of electronica, hip-hop, and lo-fi indie rock, she launched her initial single "Meaner Girl" in 2019 when she was 15 years old, and her narratives centered on high-school conflicts and adolescent concerns soon attracted listeners. Later that same year, she followed up with two additional tracks, "I Try" and "No Fun," prior to issuing her first EP, Self Aware Bitch, in 2020.
