AudioDamn!

After their shared manager brought them together in 2009, the two Austrians Oliver "Oli" Wimmer (vocals/guitar) and Ali Grumeth (guitar/bass/vocals) set aside their separate endeavors to form AudioDamn!, initially operating under the name Amsterdamn!. Relocating to Mannheim, Germany, the pair enrolled at the Popakademie Baden-Wurttemberg and encountered drummer Daniel "Mudi" Mudrack there in 2011. The resulting trio, whose beat-driven blend of jazzy rock resisted easy categorization, secured a deal with Epic Records in 2015. Wimmer’s falsetto combined with the forceful grooves supplied by Grumeth and Mudrack to produce an energetic style evoking Maroon 5, Fall Out Boy, and OKGo while drawing additional inspiration from Michael Jackson, Queen, Foo Fighters, and Justin Timberlake. In early 2016 the group issued its self-titled debut CD EP, which spotlighted the tracks “Radar” and “Lights Out.”
