Baby Plug, a rapper based in Atlanta, crafts hip-hop tracks optimized for clubs and marked by abundant bounce. Having grown up in Missouri, Plug relocated to Atlanta in pursuit of a music career. He put out a pair of mixtapes that attracted little notice—Its Baby Plug in 2018 and Lemme Pop My Shxt in 2019—before Epic Records took notice and issued his breakthrough single “No Fifties” in February 2020. Later that year he delivered Topic, his third mixtape.
