Blood Red Throne

Formed in 2000 by bassist Tchort, Blood Red Throne began as his independent venture after stints in some of the most popular Norwegian death metal bands of the '90s (including Emperor and In the Woods...). The group leaned more toward a thrash approach, issuing its debut album Monument of Death in 2001. Later efforts followed with A Taste for Blood in 2002, Affiliated with the Suffering in 2003, Altered Genesis in 2004, Come Death in 2007, and Souls of Damnation in 2009.
