Biography
Ceraadi emerged as an Iowa-raised sister act based in Los Angeles, cultivating an audience throughout the mid-2010s via engaging tracks such as "Whatever," "Kung Pao," and "Active," which merged present-day R&B and rap with a throwback aesthetic echoing TLC. The group later inked a deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation and scored a major success through its 2019 release "Loyalty."
Originally operating as a three-piece, siblings Saiyr, Emaza, and Znuie Gibson spent their formative years in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, before traveling across the country with their mother in 2008. Once established in L.A., they launched Ceraadi in 2013 and developed a presence across social platforms that helped assemble a substantial online following. Their inaugural single, "Whatever," surfaced in 2015 and received added visibility from an appearance on the unscripted series Christina Milian Turned Up. Further releases followed over the ensuing seasons, including "That's Bae" and "Favorite Song," until the youngest Gibson sibling, Znuie, exited amid online disputes in 2018. Saiyr and Emaza elected to continue, reshaping Ceraadi as a duo.
Momentum built toward the close of that year with "Kung Pao" and "Active," prompting a contract with the Island-affiliated Roc Nation, which delivered the 2019 breakout single "Loyalty," a track that intensified the '90s influences. The five-song Ceraadi's Playlist EP arrived later in the same year.
