Cindy Morgan

Cindy Morgan grew up in the countryside of East Tennessee, where she fused pop and R&B elements with gospel across a trio of albums that yielded two CHR chart-toppers, “Let It Be Love” and “It’s Gonna Be Heaven.” Her first full-length effort, Real Life, brought six Dove Award nominations in 1993—New Artist of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Contemporary Album of the Year, Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year, and Recorded Music Packaging of the Year—while she claimed the New Artist prize. The 1993 follow-up Reason to Live further solidified her standing by securing an additional Dove nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year. In 1994 she issued her third album, Under the Waterfall.
