Claudia Koreck

Born on May 28, 1986, in Traunstein, German singer-songwriter Claudia Koreck entered the music scene as a teenager after first being spotted by a radio outlet based in Munich. She began performing material in English before shifting toward songs written in the Bayerische dialect. The single “Fliang,” whose English meaning is Flying, gained airplay on the Munich station Bayern 3 and supplied the momentum for her debut album, released under the same title in August 2007. Koreck also belongs to the group Menschenskinder, which issued a single in 1996. A DVD titled I Kon Fliang followed in 2008. She fronts her own Claudia Koreck Band, whose members include Andreas Dombert, Manfred Muller, and Andreas Schellinger.
