DannyLux functions as the stage name for Daniel Balderrama, a vocalist, composer, and guitarist who fuses corrido and sad sierreño styles with both classic and alternative rock. A native of Palm Springs, California, he gained widespread attention in 2020 through his appearance on Eslabon Armado’s “Jugaste Y Sufrí,” a track that ascended to the top of Billboard’s Latin Songwriters chart. The next year he supported Coldplay as opening act across nine dates of the band’s extended Mexican tour. Since that period Balderrama has pursued an independent course, releasing well-regarded albums such as Las Dos Caras Del Amor (2021), Perdido En Ti (2022), and DLUX (2023), each drawing on the varied musical traditions rooted in his Mexican-American heritage.
