Biography
Formed in Venezuela as a punk and ska outfit, Desorden Público began writing original material in 1985 during performances at the small Junkolandia venue, with Andrés Vivas handling vocals and Elias Racho on the drums. Their debut self-titled record came out in 1987, succeeded by En Descomposición in 1990 and Canto Popular de la Vida Y La Muerte in 1994. By the middle of the decade, the group had established itself at the forefront of the local ska scene and emerged as one of the leading and most promising acts in Latin rock. Plomo Revienta arrived in 1997, with Dónde Esta el Futuro following the next year. In the spring of 2001, Diablo marked their initial output of the new millennium.
