Dryjacket

Originating in Marlton, New Jersey, indie rock group Dryjacket blends emo, punk-pop, and math rock while steering toward lighter outcomes. Lead singer and guitarist Joe Junod, already equipped with several songs, formed the band in 2014 alongside guitarists Brad Wyllner and Ian Foley plus drummer Adam Cerdan, and the quartet gained notice almost immediately. Once rehearsals and a handful of house shows were underway, they supported Somos across several dates and drew interest from Hopeless Records within months of their start. The label issued the four-piece’s first EP, Lights, Locks, & Faucets, in 2015. Early the following year Dryjacket mounted a brief headlining circuit across the Great Lakes region before touring in support of Yellowcard. Their initial full-length album, For Posterity, appeared in January 2017.
