Eden Prince

U.K. producer Eden Prince crafts sleek, sun-kissed house tracks that blend elements of disco, R&B, and pop. He first surfaced through remixes and cover versions before gaining notice for his own material, highlighted by the 2020 EP Memories.

Born in London as Eden Anderson, he produced progressive house under the name Special Features in the early 2010s. Around 2015 he adopted the enigmatic Eden Prince alias and launched a remix of Basement Jaxx’s “Mermaid of Bahia,” which was followed by dancefloor-oriented takes on tracks originally recorded by Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, and Justin Timberlake. Visual artist Domingo Zapata supplied vibrant cover art for each of those singles. After accumulating further remixes and covers of material by Clean Bandit and Shaggy, among others, Prince delivered his debut original release in 2017: the single “Obvious,” which featured vocals from Cassie. That recording later provided the sample for Marshmello and Anne-Marie’s platinum-certified hit “Friends.” Subsequent remixes for a wide range of acts—including Jonas Blue, Toni Braxton, and Weezer—led to a 2019 collaboration with Kream and U.K. X Factor winner Louisa on the single “Ain’t Thinkin Bout You.” Axwell’s Axtone label released his first EP, Memories, in June 2020.
