Biography
Colorado-based Christian rock collective Foolish Things came together in the late '90s, built around guitarist/vocalist Isaac Jorgensen, vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist James Rightmer, guitarist/vocalist Mark Labriola (vocals/guitar), bassist Nate Phillips, and drummer Shaul Hagen. The ensemble specializes in concise, reflective modern rock that echoes Switchfoot and Jimmy Eat World. Early independent momentum carried them to nearly 10,000 units sold before they secured a major-label agreement. They then signed with Inpop Records and recorded their debut under producer Jason Houser (Matthew Sweet). The resulting full-length album, Let's Not Forget the Story, appeared in July 2006.
