FRND

Operating under the alias FRND, an anonymous Los Angeles-based musician and producer creates songs built around airy vocal deliveries, calming tunes, and subtle layers of electronic rhythm. The artist joined the independent imprint Crooked Paintings in 2016 and issued the debut single “Friend” that year, which drew attention from Impose magazine and additional web outlets. The next year brought the release of the tracks “Substitute” and “Be Happy.”
