Biography
Donovan “Grabbz” Campbell entered the world on 4 June 1984 in Toronto, where he has built careers as an entrepreneur, songwriter and recording artist. His first release, the single “Nasty,” appeared on 5 January 2022 and has since accumulated more than 120 000 Spotify streams while earning an 8.2 rating from Reverb Nation listeners. The track moves with short, direct, cadenced bars over dense, hard-hitting arrangements that frame Grabbz’s commanding bass register; its verses offer listeners subtle glimpses of his personality through understated lyrical shading.
On 25 February the Toronto artist joined Yo Gotti’s “Dolla fo Dolla” remix, now streaming across every major platform and demonstrating his ability to trade verses with established heavyweights. His follow-up single “TOONIES LOONIES,” issued 5 May 2022, quickly drew widespread praise from fresh listeners and climbed to number six on the iTunes chart. Surpassing the debut’s numbers in its first year, the song has passed 230 000 Spotify streams and carries the energy of a certified banger; curators worldwide have remarked, “It’s like nothing I’ve ever heard before, the song is extremely unique.”
In June 2022 Grabbz confirmed his inaugural distribution agreement with Bentley Records and unveiled the single “Corona Free.” The record showcases the full breadth of his already distinctive vocal approach, anchoring an infectious hook—“I’m Corona Free”—to sharply crafted rap lines that hold audiences from start to finish.
Grabbz’s drive reaches beyond the booth. Prior to recording he founded Hotgrabbz, a well-known Canadian Grabba company, in 2014 and has steadily expanded its presence ever since. He now channels the same focus into music. His catalogue is available on Apple Music, Tidal, Spotify and YouTube under the channel THIS IS GRABBZ, with further updates posted across his social platforms.
